The “big game” is the SuperLotto Plus which can reach jackpots of over $100 million.
To win SuperLotto Plus, players must pick 5 numbers between 1 and 47 and 1 MEGA number between 1 and 27. All players must be at least 18 years of age to both purchase a ticket and cash in a winning ticket. Winners can choose to receive their winnings in 26 annual payments or a (reduced) lump sum payment.
SuperLotto Plus is a popular game in California and tickets can be purchased for $1 in convenience stores, gas stations and grocery stores throughout the state. Drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:57pm Pacific time.

The easiest way to win money with SuperLotto Plus is to guess the MEGA number since it ensures a winning ticket. Players who guess the MEGA number (1 in 49 odds) win a prize determined by the number of tickets purchased. Without the MEGA number, players must guess 3 of the 5 regular numbers correctly (1 in 185 odds). The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 41,416,353 and the overall odds of winning anything with SuperLotto Plus are 1 in 23. Those odds make it one of the most desirable lotteries in existence. |
